On 10, October, Ambassador to Seychelles Shi Zhongjun met with Chinese underwater archeology working group. The working group, which was invited by Seychelles Ministry of Tourism and Culture to discuss future cooperation in archeological researches of Seychelles underwater heritage, introduced to the Ambassador the status quo of Seychelles archeology, the discussions with relative institutions of Seychelles, and also put forward some views on the future bilateral cooperation in underwater archeology.
Ambassador Shi Zhongjun spoke highly of the job which has been done by the group. He said that archeology, as an important part of culture, can play a great role in the cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Seychelles, which will sure enhance the mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries.
